In an extraordinary effort, two Indian Army doctors helped a woman deliver baby during a train journey. Army doctors, Captain Lalitha and Captain Amandeep of 172 Military Hospital facilitated in premature delivery of a passenger while traveling on Howrah Express. 

Additional director general of Public Information of the Indian Army took to Twitter to post, “Both mother and baby are healthy.”

“Captain Lalitha & Captain Amandeep, Indian Army 172 Military Hospital, facilitated in premature delivery of a passenger while traveling on Howrah Express. Both mother & baby are hale & hearty”, said ADPI-Indian Army.

The Indian Army also shared on Twitter the photo of the baby aboard the train.
