Delhi deputy chief minister and senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia on Monday hailed the Bawana bye-election victory, saying that it is a reply to predatory parties like BJP.
Sisodia offered his gratitude to voters and congratulated party workers for registering a splendid victory. He said people have voted for government’s relentless effort in last 2.5 years in the national capital.
The Delhi deputy chief minister said that their fight against VVPAT will continue in future too. The AAP leaders will meet Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal at 4 pm.
The AAP candidate, Ram Chander, bagged 59,886 votes while the BJP, which had fielded AAP turncoat Ved Parkash as its candidate, finished a distant second with 35,834 votes.

Congress's Surender Kumar trailed closely behind with 31,919votes. For the BJP, the loss comes barely four months into its total domination in the municipal polls and a sweep of the Rajouri Garden bypolls.
