Breaking the stereotype, a matrimonial webpage created by a startup woman entrepreneur here to rebel against her parents’ plan to get her married after they placed an advertisement in a newspaper has gone viral with two lakh page views and over 11,000 likes.
In the webpage “marry.induja.com”, Induja Pillai, a 23-year-old Tamil girl, has made it clear that she is not a marriage material and would like to marry preferably a bearded man who is passionate about seeing the world.
“I am not womanly woman. Definitely not marriage material. I am looking for a man, preferably bearded, who is passionate about seeing the world,” she wrote in her webpage.
She further writes that she would marry a man who earns for himself and does not hate his job, besides he is not a family guy.
“I will marry someone who earns for himself and does not hate his job. Must be flexible with his parents, also means, it’s better if he is not a family guy,” she wrote.
The startup entrepreneur might have rebelled against her parents, but Induja would not be regretting for having created it, for she already got quiet a few suitors for herself.
“Ever since my parents have placed an advertisement, I have been telling them of what sort of man I want. This webpage has helped me to get a few suitors. I will go ahead with a person who suits my requirements,” she said.
The webpage also has convinced Pillai’s parents about her decision on marriage. “This webpage has worked out for me, to convince my parents, of what I am looking in a man,” she said.
