Nearly 10,000 Tulips in vivid colours were the main attraction on Friday at the annual ‘Udyanotsav’ when President Pranab Mukherjee threw open Mughal Garden for public on Friday afternoon.

You can witness nearly 10,000 Tulips in vivid colours of red, orange and yellow mixed with red, pink, purple and white.

These Tulips are expected to bloom in phases up to March 10.

This year, the tulips have been grown in earthen pots as well as several beds in the Rectangular and Circular Gardens.

On Friday, President took the first stroll in the Mughal Garden and inspected the beautiful flowers.

The world famous Mughal Garden will be thrown open for public from February 14 to March 15.

Mondays the garden will be closed as the maintenance will be carried out on those days in the garden.
