New Delhi:

The BJP national executive meeting will start in Bhubaneswar on Saturday and party’s national president Amit Shah also reached the capital city to a grand welcome on Friday.

The two-day meet will have Prime Minister Narendra Modi and 13 BJP chief ministers including Yogi Adityanath, their deputies, 45 Union ministers and other senior party leaders to prepare a roadmap for Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in 2019.

Its going to be after a gap of 20 years that BJP is holding its national executive meet in Odisha.

BJP, for 2019 is eyeing at least 150 Lok Sabha seats from states like Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Tripura, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

For 2019, the focus of Centre remains the unconquered territories, Odisha being one of them, to win the Lok Sabha election.

Though a lot of factors may impede the roadmap for 2019 keeping in mind that the states that Centre is eyeing have long been the strongholds of regional parties. But it remains to be seen if Modi magic would work here in 2019 as well.
