BJP-RSS meet today, Narendra Modi likely to be announced as PM candidate

Gearing up for the upcoming assembly polls and the 2014 General Elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) will hold a meeting in the Parliament Library building on Thursday.

The top brass belonging to the BJP and the RSS, including Rajnath Singh, Narendra Modi, Sushma Swaraj and Mohan Bhagwat, will chalk out strategy for the elections in the crucial meeting.

Party’s senior leader LK Advani, however, will not be present at the meeting.

According to BJP sources, the party is likely to name Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the Prime Ministerial candidate for 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
