Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be meeting US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. This is the third time this year when both the leaders will be meeting. In an attempt to dispel misconceptions, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is expected to interact with foreign media in New Delhi. The RSS chief will interact with as much as 70 journalists from the international publications and news channels and reply to their queries on various issues "with no subject forbidden".

‘Completely Baseless': Pakistan Rejects Reports Saying Balakot Terror Camps Are Active Again

Pakistan on Tuesday rejected as “completely baseless” the Indian Army chief’s statement on the reactivation of a Jaish-e-Muhammed (JeM) terror camp in Balakot that was destroyed by the IAF in February. Army Chief General Bipin Rawat had earlier confirmed the reports that terrorist hide outs and camps destroyed by Indian Air Force strikes in Balakot have been re-activated by Pakistan. He said, about 500 terrorists are trying to infiltrate into India.

Emmanuel Macron To Hold Separate Meetings With Trump, Rouhani At UN

French President Emmanuel Macron announced separate meetings with US President Donald Trump and Iran’s Hassan Rouhani as he seeks to defuse tensions between US and Iran on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. “I had an informal meeting with Trump this morning. I will see Rouhani this evening and Trump again tomorrow (Tuesday),” Macron told reporters.   

Delhi Govt To Sell Onions At Rs 24 Per Kg

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said his government is procuring onions and will sell them at cheaper prices in fair price shops and mobile vans. Kejriwal said the AAP government will offer relief to consumers troubled by the soaring price of onions. "The government is buying onions and the sale is expected to begin in 10 days. The price of this onion will be Rs 24 per kg.  The government will sell onions through all fair price shops and mobile vans,” he said.

Petrol, Diesel Prices Touch New Highs On Tuesday

Petrol, Diesel Rates Today: The price of petrol and diesel prices continued to rise. Petrol and diesel prices have been rising daily for the last 7 days from September 17 following attacks on Saudi Arabian crude oil facilities. It continued to rise on the eighth day as state-run oil marketing companies again increasing petrol and diesel prices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Gurugram and Noida on Tuesday (September 24). The price of petrol was up by 20-22 paise per litre and that of diesel by 14-15 paise per litre on Monday. 

'Pakistan Committed Blunder By Joining US After 9/11': Imran Khan Admits ISI Trained Militants

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday repeated that Pakistan committed "one of the biggest blunders" by joining the 'war on terror' led by the United States after the 9/11 attacks. He was speaking at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) think-tank in New York ahead of his meeting with US President Donald Trump.
