In the first visit by a foreign delegation to Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370, a group of 27 European lawmakers will travel to Valley today, a major diplomatic outreach by the government to counter Pakistan's narrative on the situation in the valley and to give them a "clear view" of India's development and governance priorities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Riyadh late on Monday night on a two-day visit, during which he will attend the third edition of Saudi Arabia’s high-profile annual financial conference and hold bilateral talks with top leadership of the Gulf Kingdom. He will deliver the keynote address under the title ‘What’s next for India?’ at the Future Investment Initiative (FII), which is dubbed as ‘Davos in the Desert’.

Modi's AI One 'Not Subject To Our Provisions,' Says ICAO

The International Civil Aviation Organisation, the United Nations global watchdog, has reacted to India’s complaint against Pakistan over alleged violation of airspace rule and it is not exactly what New Delhi was looking for. According to Press Trust of India, ICAO has simply stated that it cannot look into the matter as the aircraft involved in the incident does not fall under its provision. Simply stated, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Air India One is considered by the ICAO as the state aircraft. Whereas the rules stipulate that cooperation over airspace is mandatory for civil aircraft. However, New Delhi’s battle is not completely lost. A Times of India report said that the ICAO has not only ‘acknowledged’ India’s complaint but also sought information from Pakistan.

Pakistan 'Launches' New Terror Outfit All India Lashkar-e-Taiba, Kohli, Modi On Hitlist: Sources

In a bid to evade mounting global pressure, Pakistan has reportedly launched a new terror outfit to carry out attacks in India. Government sources say that the new outfit has been named as All India Lashkar-e-Taiba, which many say is simple rechristening of the existing, infamous Lashkar-e-Taiba. Govt trying to conceal 'real' situation in J-K: PDP

The PDP will not be part of any "rhetoric" the Centre wants to build by concealing the "real situation" in Jammu and Kashmir, the party said on Tuesday, distancing itself from any member who attended a lunch hosted by NSA Ajit Doval. 


Doval on Monday met for lunch a group of 27 European lawmakers, who are visiting Kashmir on Tuesday. It was attended by senior Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and former deputy chief minister Muzaffar Hussain Baig, among others from the state.
