Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to meet his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina on Saturday in New Delhi. Around six-seven pacts are likely to be inked in areas like transport, connectivity, capacity building and culture when prime ministers meet. Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said three projects will be jointly inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina on Saturday, but did not elaborate further.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday held wide-ranging talks with his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina on further deepening overall ties between the two countries in diverse areas including defence and security, trade and connectivity.
Government sources said the focus of the talks was to significantly expand the areas of cooperation between the two countries.
Both sides want to boost ties in areas of defence, trade and connectivity, they said.
