CCTV cameras installed in Delhi Metro used to make porn MMSes

In a shocker, a Hindi newspaper on Tuesday reported that CCTV cameras installed in Delhi Metro trains have been used to capture couples' intimate moments. Not only this, the footage has also reached international porn sites. The bulk of these clips has been uploaded since 2011.

More than 250 clips of couples on near-empty trains have been made into two-to eight-minute videos and uploaded on these sites, a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) official told a newspaper, requesting anonymity.

A leakage of this scale from its central control room, if found true, could embarrass the DMRC and raise a big privacy issue.

When contacted, DMRC spokesperson Anuj Dayal refused to give a response.

However, CISF Director General Rajiv told the newspaper: “We are just the monitoring agency. DMRC controls the database into which this CCTV footage goes, and so the leak most likely happened at its end.”
