The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday launched a scathing attack against the opposition parties for spreading misinformation on Citizenship Amendment Act. Accusing the Congress party for bifurcating the people of this country in the name of religion, BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra said opposition parties are using students to fulfill their polical ambitions.
"In CAA, no rights of any Indian citizen, whether it is Hindu, Muslim or any other caste or religion is being violated. These students are educated, but some people mislead them to serve their selfish political interests," Sambit Patra said. "Rahul Gandhi was trying to instigate the people by saying PM Modi is trying to differentiate between Hindu and Muslims," he added.
"Opposition parties have unleashed their own Jinnahs. Like Owaisi is trying to be new Jinnah of this country," he said slamming opposition parties.
