Coronavirus Outbreak Live Updates: On Day 2 of the full lockdown, India recorded 649 cases of COVID-19 infections on Thursday. Both Central and state authorities have been trying to convince people about the supply of essential items, the ground reality quite different. There may have been fewer cases of people venturing out of their homes on the national level. The informal sector is the worst-hit in the current scenario. Several reports are coming from Rajasthan and Delhi-NCR, where jobless workers are travelling to their hometowns on foot. Around the world, the US has seen a massive rise in a number of confirmed cases. The death tally breached the 1,000-mark on Thursday. Spain has overtaken China in terms of COVID-19 deaths.
