Delhi High Court on Thursday rules that app-based cab services like Ola, Uber and other taxi operators cannot charge more than stipulated fares after August 22.

The court came up with the decision while hearing a bunch of petition filed by an association of radio taxi operators and Ola. Radio taxi operators association alleged that Uber and Ola are overcharging customers. Ola, however, accused Uber of not complying with court orders.

Earlier during the day Delhi Transport Minister Satyendar Jain said the Delhi government will carve out a policy which will soon be put forth for public's suggestions for 15-30 days and then sent to the Lt Governor Jung for his approval.
