Afghanistan’s Ambassador to India Dr Shaida Abdali on Wednesday announced his resignation as the Afghan Ambassador to India, saying stepping down was a tough but an appealing decision.

Abdali’s resignation comes on the same day Afghanistan’s President Ashraf Ghani visited India and held wide-ranging talks with PM Modi to further boost bilateral cooperation.
