Fali S Nariman who was appointed by the Supreme Court as Amicus Curiae to find out who would be the BCCI officials to oversee the board matters has withdrawn from the case. Anil B. Divan has been appointed as amicus curiae to oversee the matter in the board.

The Supreme Court on Monday removed Anurag Thakur from the post of BCCI chief for not complying with top court's orders. The SC also removed Ajay Shirke as BCCI secretary.Â
According to the reports, the top court also issued show cause notices to Anurag Thakur and Ajay Shirke asking why contempt and perjury proceedings are not initiated against both of them.Â
