New Delhi:
A one of its kind International Raksha Bandhan festival will be celebrated on August 17 RSS leader Indresh Kumar said today. The festival will be attended by intellectuals and representatives.
“I want to inform that on August 17, a day before Raksha Bandhan, an International Raksha Bandhan festival will be organised at the Talkatora Stadium,” he said.
The announcement was made during a symposium, organised here by Vishwagram Trust, titled 'Peace, People and Possibilities in Kashmir'.
“You all are invited to first International Raksha Bandhan festival,” he told the audience at the two-day event that concluded today.
“Raksha Bandhan is a festival which can provide way for answers to many global problems," he added. “This would be a successful experiment and don't come alone, bring along your children and others also,” he added.
