Amarnath Yatra resumes after a brief halt

Meanwhile, the Amarnath yatra on Baltal and Pahalgam routes, which was suspended for the day, resumed after the weather improved. The air sorties by the administration from Baltal base camp also resumed.

Earlier, landslides triggered by heavy rains in the Valley halted Amarnath Yatra from Pahalgam route. The yatra was already suspended from Baltal route since Friday due to the inclement weather situation and landslides.
