Shahdol:
Former Congress MP Rajesh Nandini Singh today died following a massive heart attack, family sources said. Singh (59) is survived by her son and daughter.
The Congress leader complained of uneasiness in the afternoon following which she was rushed to a hospital.
However, she died en-route to the hospital, the sources said. She got elected as member of the 15th Lok Sabha from Shahdol seat in 2009. Earlier, Singh was elected as MLA from Kotma seat in Shahdol district in 1993.
Her husband late Dalbir Singh was a former Union Minister. Her last rites will be performed tomorrow at her ancestral village, they said.
