Nagpur:
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said the society should accept only "good things" coming out of the globalisation. "The society should accept only good things from the globalisation, and leave out which is not required," Bhagwat said, speaking at the 87th anniversary function of a Marathi daily.
Many new things come up in the era of globalisation, and disappear quickly too, he said. A newspaper's job is to propagate good things in the society without bothering about opposition, he said, lauding the daily for maintaining its journalistic excellence and the loyalty of it readers.
He also mentioned former RSS chief Balasaheb Deoras was the Chairman of the group which publishes Tarun Bharat and had deputed some workers of the organisation to the paper, but added that RSS did not run the paper.
Tarun Bharat Chairman Dr Vilas Dangre, Managing Director Vishwas Pathak and Editor Gajanan Nimdev were also present on the occasion.
