Grand alliance: Mulayam's grandnephew, Lalu's daughter to tie the knot today

In a bid to bring most powerful political families of UP and Bihar together, Mainpuri MP and SP chief Mulayam Singh’s grandnephew Tej Pratap Yadav and Lalu’s youngest daughter Raj Laxmi will tie the knot in Delhi today.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Megastar Amitabh Bachchan had attended the pre-wedding ceremony on last Saturday at Saifai.

Bachchan, who boarded a flight from Mumbai, wore a white kurta pyajama with a shawl on his shoulder.

Several prominent leaders including JD(U) president Sharad Yadav, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Babulal Gaur, former union minister Raghuvansh Prasad were among those who reached Saifai to attend the function.

Former UP and Uttrakahand CM, Narain Dutt Tiwari, former SP leader Amar Singh, BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj and JD(U) President Sharad Yadav were also present.
