New Delhi:

The Indian Army spokesperson on Wednesday denied BJP MP Tapir Gao's claim of Chinese incursion in Arunachal Pradesh's Anjaw district. In a statment, the Indian Army spokesperson has said there has been no such incursion and added that troops from either side patrol the area on a routine basis. “Being an area of differing claims, troops routinely from either side patrol the area. In addition, civilian hunters and herb collectors also frequent here during summer months. There is no permanent presence of either Chinese soldiers or civilians in the area”, news agency ANI quoted Army spokesperson as saying.

Earlier, local BJP MP Tapir Gao had claimed that Chinese troops intruded in Arunachal Pradesh’s Anjaw district and constructed a bridge over Kiomru Nullah in Chaglagam circle 

Recently, Army Chief Bipin Rawat reacting on Chinese troops' movement in Jammu and Kashmir’s Demchok had denied any intrusion from Chinese side saying, “Celebrations were underway in our side and just to see what was happening, the Chinese troops came.”

Moreover, Indian government has been majorly focussing upon developing Infrastructure like roads, tunnels, railway lines and airfields on the border of India and China to ensure the sovereignty and security of the nation.
