New Delhi:
The Indian Navy denied on Friday Pakistan's claims that its submarine was detected and prevented from entering the territorial waters of country's western neighbour.
"We categorically deny Pak media report that Indian submarine was detected by Pak Navy and blocked from entering Pakistani waters," ANI quoted Indian Navy as saying.

Earlier in the day, the Pakistan Navy said that it prevented Indian submarines from entering its territorial waters.Â
A Pakistan Navy spokesperson said the Indian submarines after being detected near Pakistan's territorial waters had been pushed back.Â
"The Indian Navy, in order to fulfill its nefarious designs, was deploying submarines. The Pakistan Navy, alert and using its extreme skill, prevented Indian submarines from entering Pakistani waters," the Pakistan Navy spokesperson said in a statement.Â
"Pakistan Navy fleet units detected the presence of Indian submarines in the southern parts of Pakistani waters...and restricted their activity," the statement said.Â
The spokesperson claimed that Pakistan Navy had been successful in thwarting the efforts of the Indian submarines to keep their presence camouflaged.
