Iran has released six Indian crew members of the ship 'Abdul Razzak', who were detained for 11 months by the Iranian authorities. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar thanked the Iranian government and acknowledged the efforts of the Indian embassy in Tehran for the release of the Indian crew.

"6 Indian crew members of the ship 'Abdul Razzak' detained in Iran for 11 months have been released. Thank the Iranian authorities for their assistance. Appreciate the efforts of our Embassy in Tehran and our Consulate in Bandar Abbas", tweeted Jaishankar.
