Restrictions have been eased in all 22 districts in Jammu and Kashmir for the first time since abrogation of provisions of Article 370 on August 5. The government eased day-time restrictions in police station jurisdictions on Saturday morning thus ending any form of curfew from all districts in Jammu and Kashmir.

MK Dwivedi, Secretary of Information & Public Relations in Jammu and Kashmir administration, tweeted, "Day time restrictions relaxed from all 105 police station jurisdictions in #Kashmir. So now no restrictions in all 22 districts of #JammuAndKashmir"

These restrictions have been in place ever since Narendra Modi-government decided to scrap provisions of Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The Parliament of India has also approved the bifuraction of the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories.  Many parts of Jammu and Ladakh have been ree of any restrictions for a long time now. However, some violence-prone areas have been under restrictions.
