Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached his parliamentary constituency on Sunday, where he will be inaugurating projects worth over Rs 1000 crores. This is PM Narendra Modi’s first visit to Varanasi in 2020. According to the reports, PM Modi will also address a public rally later in the day. He is also schedule to participate in the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Shri Jagadguru Vishwaradhya Gurukul.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the launch event of ‘Kashi Ek Roop Anek’ in Varanasi: "For the first time in the country, a national logistics policy is being prepared. It will lead to creation of single window e-logistics market."

"I have been told that in the last 2 years, the Uttar Pradesh Institute of Design (UPID) has provided assistance in design-related artwork to 3500 craftsmen and weavers across 30 districts of state. Also, for enhancement in craft products, tool-kit has been given to 1000 artisans," says Modi.

"This effort to make the products of UP reach foreign markets and make them available worldwide online market, the whole country is going to benefit from this," says PM Modi.

"Today this is my third event in Kashi, first one was at a spiritual centre, second was at a modern centre and now I am at the centre of self-employment. This proves that 'Kashi ek hai par iske roop anek hai'," says PM Modi.







All these projects are part of the resolution of rejuvenation going on in the entire Purvanchal including Kashi for the last 5 years.






On this holy occasion, about 1200 crore rupees projects benefiting the entire Purvanchal including Varanasi have been inaugurated and the foundation stone has been laid: PM

PM Modi attends centenary celebrations of Shri Jagadguru Vishwaradhya Gurukul in Varanasi.




PM will interact with buyers and artisans coming from different countries of the world including USA, UK and Australia. 'Kashi Ek Roop Anek' will showcase products from over 100 artisans from all over Uttar Pradesh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shall also inaugurate the two day 'Kashi Ek Roop Anek' exhibition at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Hastakala Sankul.


At public function, PM Modi shall be dedicating to the nation over 30 projects. This includes a 430 bed super speciality Government hospital at Kashi Hindu Vishwavidyalaya (BHU), and a 74 bed psychiatry hospital at BHU.

The Memorial Centre shall also have the engravings of the life and times of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya.

PM Modi shall be dedicating to the nation the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Memorial Centre. PM shall also unveil the 63 feet Pancha Loha Statue of Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya. 

PM Modi Modi shall also be releasing the translated version of the Shri Siddhant Shikhamani Granth in 19 languages. He would also release a Mobile App of the Granth.

PM Modi will participate in the Closing Ceremony of the Centenary Celebrations of Shri Jagadguru Vishwaradhya Gurukul.
