The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2019 i.e. Triple Talaq bill will be moved by Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in Lok Sabha today. The bill aims to protect the rights of married Muslim women and to prohibit divorce by pronouncing talaq by their husbands. On the other hand, BJP is expected to stake claim to form the next government in Karnataka. The Saffron party may approach Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala today and stake claim to form the government.
