New Delhi:

In a major mishap, two buildings in Greater Noida collapsed on Tuesday night after one of the under-construction building fell on the other. Eight dead bodies have been recovered so far while many others are feared trapped under a scrap of the six-storey buildings that collapsed in Shah Beri village under Bisrakh police station.

Four National Disaster Response Force teams have reached the scene and a major rescue operation is underway.

"Operations will continue till all victims are rescued," NDRF commandant PK Srivastava told news agency.
