Pilibhit:
A man eater tiger was captured by forest department officials in Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday night. The Tigress was tranquillised by forest officials and will be shifted to Lucknow Zoo.
The two-year-old tigress is said to have killed at least five people and injured an old woman in Pilibhit.
The tiger menace had become a major issue in Pilibhit as Local bodies have threatened to stay away from voting on February 15 unless the big cat was caught.
