Chennai:
BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Friday exhorted partymen in Tamil Nadu to strengthen booth-level committees to enhance people’s support.
"If you want me to translate peoples' support into votes, you should strengthen booth-level committees," Modi said while addressing the state unit office bearers at a meeting in Chennai.
As Tamil Nadu is ranked third in terms of use of technology tool, Narendra Modi suggested that the social media should be used to a maximum extent to drum up support from rural masses.
Tamil Nadu BJP President Pon Radhakrishnan, National Executive Member, L Ganeshan, Secretary Muralidharan and others were present.
Modi is here to deliver a lecture at the Nani Phalkiwala Foundation.
