PM Modi To Visit Sardar Sarovar Dam, Seek Blessing From Mother On Birthday

PM Narendra Modi is celebrating his 69th birthday on Tuesday. PM Modi was greeted by several leaders, including Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP president and Home Minister Amit Shah. The prime minister will be in Ahmedabad and is scheduled to visit Sardar Sarovar Dam at Kevadiya. Several arrangements have been being made to welcome Modi at the dam site. The entrance of the dam area is being decorated with flowers and other materials. For the first time since the height of the Sarovar dam was raised in 2017, the water level reached its highest peak at 138.68 metres on Sunday evening. Rustom-2, DRDO’s unmanned aircraft, crashed during test trails in Karnataka’s Chitradurga District on Tuesday. News Nation has learnt that the incident took place around 6 am in morning. In a politically significant development in Rajasthan, all Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) legislative party merged with the ruling Congress. All six MLAs gave a letter to the state assembly speaker on Monday.
