PM Modi To Visit Sardar Sarovar Dam, Seek Blessing From Mother On Birthday

PM Narendra Modi is celebrating his 69th birthday on Tuesday. PM Modi was greeted by several leaders, including Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP president and Home Minister Amit Shah. The prime minister will be in Ahmedabad and is scheduled to visit Sardar Sarovar Dam at Kevadiya. Several arrangements have been being made to welcome Modi at the dam site. The entrance of the dam area is being decorated with flowers and other materials. For the first time since the height of the Sarovar dam was raised in 2017, the water level reached its highest peak at 138.68 metres on Sunday evening. DRDO's Unmanned Aircraft 'Rustom 2' Crashes In Karnataka's Chitradurga

Rustom-2, DRDO’s unmanned aircraft, crashed during test trails in Karnataka’s Chitradurga District on Tuesday. News Nation has learnt that the incident took place around 6 am in morning. The crash took place the Challakere Aeronautical Test Range (ATR), which is an outdoor testing and evaluating facility set up by the DRDO exclusively for unmanned and manned aircraft. Read More…

In a politically significant development in Rajasthan, all Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) legislative party merged with the ruling Congress. All six MLAs gave a letter to the state assembly speaker on Monday. These MLAs were so far supporting the Congress government from outside. MLAs Rajendra Singh Gudha (Udaipurwati), Jogendra Singh Awana (Nadbai), Wajib Ali (Nagar), Lakhan Singh Meena (Karauli), Sandeep Yadav (Tijara) and Deepchand (Kishangarhbas) said they were merging their legislative party with the Congress.
