The Ministry of Civil Aviation on Sunday said no letter has been issued declaring a no-fly zone in and around the national capital.
Clarifying the fake letter of the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), a civil aviation regulator, being circulated on social media, the ministry in a tweet said, “It has come to its notice that a fake letter by the DGCA declaring a no-fly zone in and around Delhi is circulating on WhatsApp.”
A fake letter on declaration of ‘no fly zone’ in & around Delhi by DGCA circulated in Whatsapp, has come to our notice. It is clarified that no such letter/ order is issued by any civil aviation authorities.

“It is clarified that no such letter/ order is issued by any civil aviation authorities,” the ministry tweeted.
Detailed information about the fake letter are yet to be ascertained, it said.
