New Delhi:
Hours after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced Union Budget, allegedly not in favour of common man; another shocker came in terms of petrol and diesel prices.
Petrol price has been hiked by Rs 3.18 per litre while diesel price escalated by Rs 3.09 per litre with effect from midnight tonight.
Few days back, petrol prices had seen a hike of 82 paisa per litre and diesel by 61 paisa. It was the first hike in prices since Modi government had took charge in Centre.
Prior to that increase, petrol price had been cut on 10 occasion since August and diesel six times since October.
