Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the maturity and patience displayed by the 130 crore people of India after the Supreme Court verdict in the Ayodhya case.
Addressing the 59th edition of his monthly radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Modi said 130-crore Indians have once again proved that for them, there is nothing bigger than national interest. He also stated that the respect for the judiciary has grown in the country after the Supreme Court’s verdict in the Ayodhya case.
“A protracted legal battle has finally come to an end, on the other hand, the respect for the judiciary has grown in the country. In the truest sense, this verdict has also proved to be a milestone for the judiciary in our country,” PM Modi added.
The prime minister also said, “After this historic verdict of the Supreme Court, the country has moved ahead on a new path, with a new resolve and full of new hopes and aspirations.”

It to be noted that on November 9, the Supreme Court paved the way for the construction of a Ram Temple at Ayodhya's disputed site, and asked the Centre to allot an alternative 5-acre plot to the Sunni Waqf Board for building a new mosque at a "prominent" place in the holy town in Uttar Pradesh.
