As the Supreme Court concluded hearing in the politically sensitive Ayodhya land dispute case and reserved its order, senior advocates representing Hindu and Muslim sides in the matter came together for a picture showcasing the unity and camaraderie. After the hearing concluded, Dhavan and Parasaran posed for a photo outside the court premises. In the photo, senior advocate K Parasaran, who represented Hindus, opposing counsel Rajeev Dhavan, advocate Aniruddha Sharma and other associates are seen wearing a big smile.
Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court had concluded the day-to-day hearing in the politically sensitive case of Ayodhya land dispute and reserved its final judgment. The top court granted three days time to all the contesting parties to submit their written response on moulding of relief, which is narrowing down the issues on which the court is required to adjudicate
A five-judge Constitution bench, headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, heard the arguments in the Ayodhya land dispute matter for 40 days. The Supreme Court is now expected to pronouce its verdict by the end of next month.

The day-to-day hearings in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid case began in the Supreme Court on August 7 with the Nirmohi Akhara, a Hindu religious denomination, claiming Muslims had not prayed at the disputed site in Ayodhya since 1934. The court was hearing a bunch pleas against the 2010 Allahabad High Court verdict.
The Allahabad High Court, in its judgment of 2010 on four civil lawsuits, had partitioned the 2.77-acre disputed land equally among Sunni Waqf Board, Nirmohi Akhara and Ram Lalla. Fourteen appeals have been filed in the Supreme Court against the verdict.
