Jodhpur:
The district and sessions court in Jodhpur on Wednesday will hear the bail applications filed Asaram aides - Shiva and Shilpi.
The court on Friday had deferred the hearing of bail applications filed by both accused.
Meanwhile, Ajay Gautam, a resident of New Delhi, who had moved a PIL in the high court seeking CBI probe into the Asaram case, withdrew his petition.
"When the court asked him to deposit Rs 50 lakh as security amount, he expressed his inability to do so and agreed to withdraw his petition," a defence counsel said. The petitioner, however, argued in court that considering the matter to be of public interest, he had filed the PIL.
With so many cases in past Gautam claimed that he will now got Supreme Court as it is a question of safety and security of many girls of Asaram’s ashrams.
Gautam had moved a PIL in the Rajasthan high court on September 11 and had raised a question mark on the investigation of police in the case.
