New Delhi:

After engaged in a bitter Twitter war with senior BJP leader Sushil Modi, BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha on Wednesday fired fresh salvos at the former deputy chief minister once again, saying that his well-wishers friends and colleagues were shocked after witnessing un-parliamentary and undignified outburst by Modi.

In a series of tweet, Sinha said Sushil Modi’s reactions reflected his frustration, desperation, and loss in political defeat. He said it cannot justify such utterances.

Sinha said in another tweet that people within the party and outside have appreciated his concern and have criticised Modi for his utterances.

He said the senior BJP leader has brought bad names to the party, and he is responsible for the debacle in Bihar assembly elections.

The actor-politician questioned Modi’s might in the party and quoted senior party leader and MP Bhola Nath Singh quoted him as saying, “ In what capacity, he (Modi) had asked Sinha’s expulsion.”

He urged party high command to take action against the leader. He said, "it is high time to teach him a lesson or be taught by the party high command."

On Tuesday, Modi had denied that he had named anyone or any leader in his tweet.

"A guilty mind is always suspicious. I did neither name anyone nor any leader. I just mentioned the word BJP's 'Shatru' (enemy of BJP)," he told reporters indirectly taking a dig at the actor-politician.

When pointed out that the word 'Shatru' was mentioned in inverted comma in his Monday's tweet, senior BJP leader had said that "Shatru to inverted hota hai (Shatru (enemy) will be put in inverted always)."

Asked about action against the Patna Saheb MP, Modi had made it clear that the issue of an MP did not come under the jurisdiction of the party's state unit.

"It is the central leadership which has jurisdiction to take action against any MP," he had said.
