Ayodhya Verdict: AIMPLB Meet Today, Decision On Filing Review Petition Likely

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) is all set to meet on Sunday to discuss Ayodhya title suit case verdict given by the Supreme Court. The matter whether to file a review petition against the Ayodhya verdict or not will also be taken up. Ahead of the meet, AIMPLB on Saturday held a brainstorming session here with different Muslim parties. The parties met All India Muslim Personal Law Board general secretary Maulana Wali Rahmani and apprised him of the Ayodhya issue, Zafaryab Jilani, who is secretary of the board, said. Read more…

Amid the political logjam in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena's exit from BJP-led National Democratic Alliance is now just a formality. Delhiites Wake Up To Clearer Skies, Air Quality Improves To ‘Very Poor’

The air quality in the national capital on Sunday improved and stood in the "very poor" category during the wee hours. People woke up to much clearer visibility compared to five consecutive days of "severe" air quality. According to Ministry of Earth Science-backed System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the AQI in and around Delhi was 204. Gurgaon and Faridabad in Haryana were the worst-affected cities, reporting air quality index (AQI) at 372 and 369 respectively, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Read more…
