Amritsar:
A suspicious unclaimed bag on Thursday morning created panic-like situation at the Amritsar international airport. The bag came in notice soon after a SpiceJet Dubai-Amritsar flight landed on the airport.
Precautionary measures were applied instantly till the time bomb disposal squad cleared that there is no explosive inside the bag.
All the passengers on the flight claimed their luggage but no one came to claim the bag, said official. However, later the owner of the bag was identified, though the person concerned is yet to come forward to claim it, they said.
It is being verified whether the passenger had missed his flight from Dubai, the officials said.
