Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said that the alleged security breach in Priyanka Gandhi's security was an "unlikely coincidence" and those who entered into her residence were the Cognress workers. Shah said that security personal thought it was Rahul Gandhi's car and that a high profile inquiry has been ordered into the alleged security breach.

During his speech on the SPG (Amendment) Bill, which was passed by the Rajya Sabha with voice vote, Amit Shah mentioned the incident and said that three security personnel deployed at Priyanka Gandhi's residence have also been suspended.

"Security personnel were informed that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit her sister in a black Safari at the same time a Congress worker named Sharda Tyagi entered into her house along with others. Since they were also in a black Safari and the time of their visit was coincidentaly same, they were not checked by the security perssonel," Shah explained the fiasco.

He, however, raised suspicion about the "coincident" as the Congress workers drove a black SUV and Rahul Gandhi was also supposed to come in a balck SUV at the same time they entered. Sharda Tyagi, the woman who entered the house of Priyanka Gandhi, said that she was suprised to see the security was left on some home guards and no one from them bothered to see who was inside the car.

"I was born in Congress & I am dedicated to the party. I was deeply anguished to find that security was left on homeguards. I went there for the first time and saw this.

"I didn't know her (Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's) house number and asked about it by calling at Congress office. When I went there, (Security) didn't even care to see who was sitting in the car, barricade was removed immediately and gate was opened," she added.

On November 25, four person drove straight inside the official residence of Priyanka Gandhi without being checked on the gate. They then allegedly walked into the garden where Gandhi was sitting and asked for pictures. However, the alleged " secuirty breach" took a new twist on Tuesday as the 'trespassers' turned out to be the Congress workers from the party's Meerut unit.
