Trouble mounts for Asaram as two sisters file sexual assault case in Surat

Ahmedabad:

Adding to Asaram's woes, two sisters from Surat have filed another sexual assault case against the self proclaimed godman. The case has been filed in Jahangirpura police station, Surat.

An FIR has been registered by two sisters against the spiritual guru and his son in Surat.

According to the FIR, Asaram raped the elder sister at Ahemdabad Ashram and his son raped the younger one in Surat between 2002-04.
The case has also been registered against Asaram's son Narayan Sai.

Allegations have also been made against the controversial guru’s wife, Lakshmi, and his daughter, Bharti, that they both helped Asaram and Narayan Sai in committing these acts. 

The case dates back to the period between 2002 and 2004.

Asaram was arrested on September 1 from his Indore ashram after a 16-year-old girl lodged a complaint with the police on August 20 accusing the self-styled godman of sexually assaulting her at his Jodhpur ashram.
