Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav's convoy was on Sunday attacked by some unidentified miscreants in Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh. A vehicle of Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav was also damaged in the attack.

Akhilesh came to Hyderabad to attend the All India Yadav Conference. As he was leaving for the Yadav conference, some local Yadav leaders including Anjan Kumar Yadav also followed him.

Anjan Kumar Yadav also tried to get into the convoy of Akhilesh. However, the UP CM’s security personnel did not allow him. The irate followers of Anjan Kumar reportedly hurled stones.

As Akhilesh’s vehicle moved fast, some stones hit the vehicle by which Anjan’s son was traveling. However, he was not injured as it was a bullet proof vehicle. AKhilesh’s security staff had complained to the Banjara Hills police about the incident.

Earlier on Saturday, Akhilesh Yadav paid a 'courtsey' visit to his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Kiran Kumar Reddy and met TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu.
