UP: Mother burnt alive, daughter writes letter in blood to CM urging action

Asking for justice from UP government, a 15-year-old girl from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh has written a letter to Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in blood demanding action against her mother's killer. Her mother was allegedly burnt alive by her in-laws on June 14.

Latika claimed in her letter that her mother was burnt alive on June 14 because she could not bear a son.

She also alleged that the matter was taken to police but no action was taken against her father and in-laws. Police investigation is going on into the matter.
