All Entry, Exit Gates At Jaffrabad, Maujpur - Babarpur Metro Stations Open
Entry and exit gates at Jafrabad and Maujpur – Babarpur metro station, which were closed in view of violence that ensued following protests over the Citizenship Act, were opened. Earlier, the gates at these metro stations were closed. “Entry and exit gates of Jaffrabad and Maujpur - Babarpur stations are closed. However, the interchange facility to continue towards Shiv Vihar is available at Maujpur. Normal service on all other stations and lines,” Delhi Metro Rail Corporation had tweeted this morning. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said he met South Korea Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon during a visit to the country and held discussions on wide-ranging issues. His visit to South Korea came amid protests over the amended citizenship law in India. In a shocking remark, Union Minister of State for Railways on Tuesday told news agency ANI that he has told the district administration and railway authorities concerned that if anybody destroys public property, they can be shot at sight. The Delhi Police on Tuesday said that the former Congress MLA Asif Khan has been named as an accused in the FIR, for involvement in Jamia Millia Islamia incident that took place on 15 December.
