An awarded Parliamentarian and poet at heart, Atal Bihari Vajpayee is known for his oratory skills and fiery speeches. He has several powerful and historic speeches to his credit.

 

His speeches were often laced with humour, wit and sarcasm. His speeches left listeners spell-bound and rivals speechless. Those who remembered him as a skilled poet also agreed with his skills of being a master orator. 

 

It is not surprising that after years of his presence in Indian politics, Modi government awarded him with ‘Bharat Ratna’.

 

The Former Prime Minister was often commended for his ability to stump his critics. One of his most memorable Parliament address includes the 1996 speech during the confidence vote of his 13-day-old government.
