Hathras:
A video has been uploaded on chat application WhatsApp, showing a young college girl and his male friend beaten up by a group of six men.
The incident, which was filmed using a cellphone, took place in Western Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras on March 8.
Police have arrested four men in connection with the assault.
The student has said that the group of men on motorcycles surrounded the her and the boy, who were also on a motorcycle.
"They abused and beat us repeatedly. I begged them to leave us, but they continued to misbehave and called me names," she was quoted as saying.
