Bengaluru:

During a time when Maharashtra is facing one of its massive drought, we hear Bengaluru is also stepping forward to lose its 'pleasant weather' crown.

Surpassing its April 30, 1931 temperature record, the city temperature soared upto 39.2 degrees on Sunday. There were many private agencies which claimed that temperature will rise above 40 degree celcius, but MeT department maintained that the temperature will hover around 37 to 38 degree Celsius.

On Sunday, when temperature crossed 38 degree celcius mark, the city came under a threat of losing its 'pleasant weather’ crown. This may happen only if the situation prevails or the temperature rises in coming days.

The city that was once pleasantly bearable during summer has unfortunately become blazing hot. Days have become hotter and nights have become surprisingly uncomfortable and the maximum temperature, as predicted by the met department, is going to hover near the 38 degree mark for next few days.

Light thunderstorm is also expected in coming couple of days and we hope the city keeps its pleasant weather forever.
