Will take a call after BJP announces its PM candidate, says Uddhav Thackeray

New Delhi:

Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray after addressing a business gathering in New Delhi on Saturday told reporters that JD-U took a hasty decision in quitting NDA. He also congratulated Narendra Modi for becoming 2014 Lok Sabha Poll Campaign Committee Chief.

Here are the highlights of his press conference:

• I can't go on speculations, let BJP's parliamentary board decide their candidate. Then NDA will discuss: Uddhav Thackeray
• Our only motive is that we want NDA government at the Centre: Uddhav 
• NDA is based on Hindutva, wonder what was JD-U thinking all along: Uddhav
• I reiterate that after BJP announces its PM candidate, our party will discuss it and then take a call: Uddhav
