After winning Indian Premier League title for the third-time, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and company celebrated the victory in CSK style.
On Sunday, Chennai Super Kings defeated SunRisers Hyderabad by eight wickets to clinch IPL trophy. This is the third time CSK lifted the winning title in the nine seasons played, making them the second team to do the same.
Harbhajan Singh took his Twitter handle to share pics of himself along with MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Dwayne Bravo enjoying team dinner. He wrote, "Last Team dinner together before we all meet again @ImRaina @msdhoni @DJBravo47 @ChennaiIPL’’.
However, Harbhajan was not a part of much games in this season but this doesn’t stopped him from the celebrating the team’s victory.
On winning the title, Coach Stephen Fleming said, ‘’Each year has been different for us. We stayed pretty consistent with the core of our team when others kept chopping and changing. It’s one thing that players are older, but it’s the professionalism that we got look into as well. MS Dhoni handles me (smiles). It’s about man-management. When he goes on the field he can do the things. There’s a lot of trust as well and it’s a nice relationship to have with him’’.
Not only Harbhajan Singh, but Suresh Raina also posted a picture along with the three players.
Chennai Super Kings also became the second team in the history of the IPL to lift the title thrice. Under Rohit Sharma's captaincy, Mumbai Indians have won IPL thrice - 2013, 2015 and 2017.
