Quinton de Kock anchored the Delhi innings with his stroke full fifty to help his team to register first win. Delhi beat hapless Punjab by 8 wickets to open its account in the ongoing IPL 2016.
The ball spin and turn on a good track and Amir Mishra used it well to take four wickets. The Kings XI Punjab were restricted to 111 runs in 20 overs. It was great display of fielding a spin bowling from Daredevils.
It will be a chance for Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Daredevils to register their first win in the ongoing IPL 2016 after they lost their first match. Both the teams lost their first match badly. It will be a chance for King Brathwaite and Pawan Negi to show their potential at Feroz Shah Kotla.
Against Kolkata, Delhi cut a sorry figure when they were dismissed for 98 in 17.4 overs with only four of their batsmen reaching double figures.
Punjab had put up a decent score of 161-6 against Gujarat in their opening match, but they were chased down easily by the debutants.
