New Delhi:

MS Dhoni is not only a cricketing legend but he is also a social media star. The former India captain and current captain of the Chennai Super Kings franchise in the 2019 Indian Premier League, is not that active on social media but when he posts something on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, it goes viral. Recently, on his Instagram handle (@mahi7781), Dhoni uploaded a photo with his daughter Ziva where he is interacting with her in six different languages. In the video, Dhoni is seen asking ‘How are you?’ to Ziva in Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, Punjabi and Urdu. In all the languages, Ziva responds brilliantly and especially in the last bit in Urdu, Dhoni is super impressed and he claps his hands in appreciation.

The video has garnered a total of 3.8 million views and has received 35000 comments. Dhoni once again has proven that he is a star off the field and his multi-lingual skills is an added benefit to his vast and legendary repertoire in the cricket field.

Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings began their 2019 Indian Premier League campaign on a great note by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first match at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chepauk. Royal Challengers Bangalore were bowled out for a miserable 70 with Parthiv Patel the only batsman to get to double figures. Imran Tahir and Harbhajan Singh were the stars with three wickets each.

In response, Chennai Super Kings took close to 17 overs to get to the target as they won the match by seven wickets but the nature of the Chepauk wicket was criticised by both Dhoni and Virat Kohli. Chennai Super Kings are the three-time IPL champions and their next encounter will be against the Delhi Capitals at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Tuesday. Delhi Capitals are coming off a strong win against Mumbai Indians as they defeated them for the third straight time with a 37-run win at the Wankhede stadium.

Under the captaincy of Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings have always qualified for the play-offs and they will be determined to continue the streak in the 2019 edition of the tournament.
